I have been going to Ceo’s in Haverhill for many years with my family and it has been my favourite place to go in the town. However I went last night and was really disappointed. The price of the food has increased and both dishrags were bland, not seasoned and not fresh. I had the Kleftico which came with Luke warm packet rice, reheated cauliflower and reheated mash potato. Very little flavour and my wife’s chicken ‘Cuve dish was the same. Really disappointed and not sure if it was because the attentitive manager was not there ? Real shame and now instead of wanting to go back likely I will try somewhere else.
Staff were simply amazing.. made us feel so welcome, food was delicious, couldn’t eat it all and was given a doggy bag to take home. Cocktails were2-4-1 and all freshly made. Thank you all for an amazing evening..
This is a Turkish restaurant. Went for lunch with relatives - 5 persons in all. We had a selection of fish, lamb and other dishes. Some had wine others had Turkish beers which were quite good (apparently only Turkish beer is available). The meals were excellent and will visit again when in Haverhill.
We visited for lunch and opted for the lunch special. We had bread and dips, a halloumi and calamari to start and a chicken sheesh and a mixed sheesh. All the food was really tasty and fresh, it was a perfect amount of food for lunch and great value at around £12.99 pp with lots of options available. Our experience was topped off by the staff who had noticed a birthday gift on the table, and surprised us with a cake, candle and played happy birthday. This was such a lovely touch! With this level of food and service I look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu - bonus that a lot of the dishes are healthy too!
Make no mistake, this place is unbelievably good. I eat in Turkish places in lockdown which are meant to be the best, this is much better. The mixed kebab (mixed grill) is sublime. Even the bread they bring out is the best you will have tasted. Only wish is wasn’t 200miles away from Home, I’d be there al the time
Good service food was good - but salad wasn’t great and kebab didn’t come with bread and we were charged extra which we think is unusual
It's the best jewel in haverhill high street. This restaurant is lovely clean and excellently decorated. The staff were very polite and accommodating, The food was amazing, well presented and the taste was out of this world Will definitely be coming back soon
Visited mid week as a group of four. The complementary flat bread and dips are delicious. The choice of cocktails are excellent and reasonably priced . I had the mixed shish kebab and my chicken and lamb was absolutely divine and so tender . It was Served with rice and a huge salad - great value for £20. Chose not to have a dessert as very full and had a floater coffee to finish off . The cream sadly was off but it was exchanged for a fresh cup promptly. Would recommend and will definitely visit again.
Avoid, Avoid Avoid. Went while out of town on business, were told to hurry up. Asked for a meal, was told it would take too long and all we could have was kebabs. Asked for a VAT receipt as it was for business, was told they weren’t VAT registered as they were a new business, but they were selling alcohol, which I believe is illegal. Then they had the nerve to charge a service charge. Rude, awful staff, wish we had just had a sandwich from Tesco.
First and last visit. Brought the appetizers out and immediately follwed with starters. I had the Lamb that was so tough even though it was minced. Most offputting was a waitress constantly patrolling the floor and checking the tables. A sole gentleman diner was seated next to us 5 ladies when the restaurant was actually mainly empty.
