Needed a very small quantity for a base , yes there’s a minimum fee for call out but to be honest they made it so easy I’m not sure the diy option would have saved me much money and definitely not time. 2 days notice and they arrived on time, made sure road was covered , barrows cleaned up and the mix was spot on. Will definitely use again and a bonus as using local firm and local people .

Concreting is a serious job with lots of potential obstacles: building controllers/ weather /suppliers. Q-Mix offered great value for money, maintained open communication. They even delivered well into the evening to ensure the project was completed on time. Kiera & Mr Singh were fantastic!

We strongly advise caution when working with Q MIX — especially for quantity-based contracts.Our experience with Q MIX was deeply disappointing. Despite their advertised "pay for what you use" model, the actual quantities delivered fell significantly short of what was agreed. Their operations did not align with their own terms and conditions.When we raised concerns, they repeatedly deflected responsibility and refused to issue a refund — even after multiple rounds of communication. The issue dragged on without resolution, leaving us no choice but to pursue legal action.We obtained a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against them. They failed to comply within the required timeframe, and the case escalated to High Court Enforcement for compulsory execution.This process was exhausting, time-consuming, and entirely avoidable had they honoured their commitments. We strongly advise against working with Q MIX, particularly where quantity settlement is involved.

Fantastic company, have been using them for a while. Chris has been a great help. Needed 2 more m3 on a pour after miscalculating the amount I need, they come through with a another lorry within the hour - great help and super flexible. Thanks, from the Amber Elite team!
