A Massive thank you to the Robinson's Team - Office Personnel and Trainers - for their unwavering guidance and coaching, which ultimately enabled me to pass; first the Reversing and Coupling, and then the 3b HGV Driving Test.I initially came to Robinson's as a person whose only dealings with an articulated lorry was viewing from a distance, as they drove about their business.My immediate first thought and feeling. Sitting in the cabin of an articulated for the very first time was of awe - bordering on Panic.The size of the cab felt intimidatingly spacious. Instinctively I thought it impossible to drive this vehicle.Over a period of lessons, and with the Stellar Expertise of my Trainers; coupled with my Determined Belief that I would achieve my goal of becoming a Competent Driver. I overcame my apprehension.I made continuous gradual improvements with my driving. Cultivating in a Very Good Pass of the 3b Road Test.If you are similar to myself, a person wishing to fulfill their ambition of passing; and being set on the path of becoming a Competent HGV Driver.Also willing to Take On Board, All the Advice Communicated by a Professional Trainer (which I imagine would be Your Goal as a Novice, otherwise You would not employ the Services of A Professional).Then I would Strongly Recommend You Use Robinson's.I Consistently found Them to be Genuine and Unrelenting (in a Highly Positive Sense) in They wanting me (and Mirroring my Overwhelming Desire) to be Successful.

I had a great experience with Robinson Driving Centre in Grays. I recently passed my Category C1 licence, and I couldn’t have done it without Martin.He was patient, knowledgeable, and really helped build my confidence behind the wheel. On top of that, he’s a great character—makes the lessons enjoyable while still keeping everything focused and professional.His teaching style is clear and supportive, which made a huge difference, especially when learning something as challenging as C1 driving.The whole process felt well-organised and professional from start to finish. I always felt like I was in good hands and properly prepared for the test.Highly recommend Robinson Driving Centre—especially Martin—if you’re looking to pass your C1 licence!

Very good training company. Mick my instructor was very knowledgeable and patient when instructing. All the other staff were very approachable and helpful. I managed to pass my class 1 today and I wouldn’t of been able to do it with Robonsons, cheers👍😀

Amazing company, go directly with the company not with agents etc Also, ask for Peter or Mick for your instructors, defo worth the time with them.

Just passed my C1 very grateful, my instructor was a lovely man called Dave can't fault the help and support he gave from start to finish, the harsh truth he gave me when I kept making the same mistake was awesome it made me think more about why I was having trouble understanding, a truly amazing instructor, can't thank you enough Dave, all the best with the bathroom refurb.STFD🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣CHEERS DAVE👍

Robinsons Driving

Honestly, if a man named Alex (Al) is going to be your instructor you’re in for a treat, he will tell you off haha but make sure you listen to him if you want to pass - which he helped me do! Best experience I’ve had with any type of instructor in my life. He’s easy to get on with too and you know you’re with Al when he says “... even when you ain’t got nothing to do… check your mirrors!” What a legend! And what an Instructor! Hope for all the best with him and Robinsons

I will recommend Robinson Training Services to anyone looking to crack their HGV training! From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely outstanding.A very special thanks to Alex, who guided me throughout the whole training journey with patience, professionalism, and clear instruction. His support made a huge difference. Toby, who joined on the third day, really boosted my confidence and helped me believe in myself when I needed it most.Chris was incredible when it came to my reverse test and CPC training — I will never forget his smiling face, positive energy, and the way he made everything feel manageable and stress-free.
