From start to finish we had a great experience using the stone co. Janette in the office was super in arranging everything and keeping us updated. The guys that came to measure and fit were prompt, friendly and professional.

Incompetent people work in this company. They did wrong templating and ended up a socket hole misaligned with actual socket place. Worse than that, fitter cheated me and asked my builder to put socket on to cover his ass. Gap to the top kitchen cabinet is way too big at at least 5mm. Normally, the gap should be around 2mm. I would never use them but it is used my Magnet Kitchen, which I did not know such as credible kitchen company is using them. Avoid at all cost and ask your kitchen supplier whether they use this company to fit your worktop.

As mentioned by other reviews, avoid at all costs (especially if ordering a stone company counter through Magnet.) Should any small issues arise (in my case a small issue with the templating that i was told by the fitter would take 20 minutes to rectify and am now given a 2.5 week timeline to come back which could very much impact the quality of our kitchen). The customer service is abysmal and although you will sign on Stone Company letterhead they will refuse to speak with you directly and only through Magnet - ( unless, of course they are chasing your initial purchase terms) If I had known this would have been the situation I would have chosen another company to fit our quartz worktops in a heartbeat as even a small savings has not been worth the hassle. I would avoid whether going through Magnet or otherwise given their choice to conduct business a step removed from their customers at any opportunity.

** DO NOT USE** Please read below Having ordered a kitchen from Magnet we decided to have our granite supplied and installed by them also and unfortunately their supplier is the stone company. One of the worst and traumatic experiences I have ever endured ( had granite twice before). Attended property to install granite (upstands missing), then proceeded to cut INSIDE the brand new kitchen which has recently been decorated. Black dust and residue all over, dust and grime in new drawer runners which are now unusable. Dented new cupboard door ( left a black indentation and scratch from banging the granite on to it) no mention of it. And the worst bit of all? Incorrect hob cut out as the templater could not be bothered to read the NEff instructions which we offered for him to have and read. This nightmare has been going on since mid July 2022 and we are still without worktops, sink basically unable to use the kitchen. End result = granite to be removed, kitchen to be professionally cleaned, damaged doors to be replaced and fitted all financed by the stone company. Please beware and do not you use this company - EVER. My new kitchen is filthy, damaged and still has no worktops. EVIDENCE CAN BE PRODUCED.

Had the stone company come in and fit my kitchen work tops on recommendation, after being messed around by 3 others firms. Quote given very quickly with a decent size sample to look at. (4 times the size off other companies) They told me a date when they could template and came back a week later to fit. First class experience and would recommend to everyone that is looking for stone worktops
